The field of computational sciences has experienced significant growth in recent years and has revolutionized several industries, including medicine, finance, energy, and entertainment. The use of advanced computer modeling and simulation techniques has opened up new possibilities for solving complex problems and exploring uncharted territory.
The computational sciences want and can be the pathfinder that realizes innovations and technologies to make that future a reality.
We do this by working toward the following goals:
Structuring, stimulatingand coordinating interdisciplinary research in Computational Sciences
Strengthen development and transfer of CS knowledge (training) between universities, companies and society
Promote sustainable societal innovations, for example in materials, energy, water and food, with computational techniques
Put the importance of Computational Science on the agenda in relevant disciplines and domains to secure funding
