Human Capital
Without people, there are no computational sciences. That is why it is so important that we strengthen education, cooperation and knowledge sharing in the Netherlands. Consider, for example, bringing in academic staff from related fields for student teaching and considering new long-term educational programs.

To bring and keep the computational community in the Netherlands at world-class level, it is important to invest in top international talent in the academic setting in addition to national training programs. We should pay attention to improving fringe benefits, such as reduced workload and international awards and prizes.
Connection to industry
Establishing ties with industry is also key. This can be achieved by promoting part-time appointments for researchers in industry, creating optimal interaction between business challenges and knowledge institutions.
Would you like to contribute to these goals while expanding your own network and/or knowledge? For this committee we are looking for enthusiastic people who want to strengthen the human capital in computational science.
